A DESIGN GROUP, LLC (ADG) is an architectural/engineering company formed in January 2012 by Mr. Frank V. Sturgeon, AIA, and Ambrish Rastogi, PE, highly experienced Architects and Engineers, respectively. ADG is a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) dedicated to providing quality Architectural/Engineering design, program management, and CQM services. The goal of ADG is to create a corporation capable of consistently providing high-quality support services to our clients. In addition, ADG’s staff members have extensive experience as program/project managers, supporting both government and commercial programs.
Our senior staff has worked on various IDIQ contracts for more than 30 years, combined with Architectural and Engineering experience. The team of ADG has worked for the National Institutes of Health, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and various other hospitals. ADG is uniquely qualified to perform the required work under multiple contracts. ADG has a wealth of experience designing and renovating central chilled water and central boiler plant systems, electrical substations, low and medium-voltage distribution systems, fire and security systems, and energy conservation/energy management systems.

In the past, our Architects and Engineers have designed new and complex renovation projects for the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of the Navy, the Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), the General Services Administration (GSA), the Department of State and several other local government agencies and Corporations.
Col. Frank Sturgeon (AIA; NCARB)
ADG's Managing Partner Col. Frank Sturgeon (AIA;NCARB), is a retired military service member and exceptionally experienced in architecture. He is experienced in many areas of architecture, including design, technical methods and materials, and management of multidisciplinary offices. His creation, managerial, and construction administration experience for public and private clients include many building and occupancy types. He has over twenty years of experience as an expert witness in Architecture and Construction cases throughout the United States. Registered Architect with licenses in Virginia, Maryland, District of Columbia, Florida, North Carolina, Alabama, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, New York, West Virginia, & New Jersey and can get registration for all the states.
Mr. Ambrish Rastogi, PE
Drawing on a base of experience developed from over 40 years of continuous practice, Mr. Ambrish Rastogi, a professional mechanical engineer, provides a well-honed balance of design, technology, and management skills. As a project manager, Mr. Rastogi defines the project's objectives, creates schedules, and oversees quality control throughout the entire project. He attains resources and manages his team, third-party contractors, and consultants to deliver the project according to plan. In addition, he identifies, assesses, and minimizes project risks for the successful completion of projects. Mr. Rastogi's experience includes HVAC/Plumbing design in government, commercial, residential, institutional, computer rooms, clean room facilities, healthcare facilities, cogeneration facilities, and various industrial facilities. Additional duties include building assessments and engineering studies and developing and writing special reports and articles for clients' review. NCEES Record Holder, with licenses in Virginia, Maryland, District of Columbia, Florida, North Carolina, Alabama, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, New York, West Virginia, & New Jersey, and can get registration for all the states.
